Stick around. Hop up on my knee here and let me tell you the story of a band named Fizzlewink. They come to us from a small town in upstate New York called Poughkeepsie. Nothing big. A lot of posers, a lot of pom poms, but a lot of punkers too. The band started about two years ago in a tiny garage that belonged to their drummer, Jon. They went through many names and played a lot of their shows before they even had their set name. Names like Cloud Nine popped up along with Big Al and the Tiny Tinies. But then one fatefull night. The name hit them like a ton of bottles of beer..... FIZZLEWINK!! Who the hell could resist or forget a name like that? So there it was. The name they chose. They played many places in the upstate New York area along with Woodstock and Marist college. The Trio released their first demo tape entitled "Carbonated Punk" consisting of their first songs ever written.
