His first proper album, "Society for the Misunderstood" came out in 1992, followed by a string of excellent albums "Hobo-Deluxe" (1993), "The Comedown" (1995), "The Lunatics Quill" (1999), and several more. Early Times was chosen as a Critics' Choice Award Recipient as Sacramento's Best Guitarist in 1997. In 2001. He helped launch Sirius Satellite radio, hosting a blues program.
